There's nothing quite like catching up with one of your best friends after you've both been away. I had a fairly average work day, but was perked up by lunch and coffee with my friend, Ed. After work we met up again for long chats over Japanese food, sharing stories from our travels - then we ventured over to Collingwood for a gig. Ed had been asked to photograph the open mic night performance of his family friend at The Acoustic Cafe, so I accompanied him. It was this tiny little bar, very quaint, with guitars strung up on all the walls. The decor was quite cute, although my favourite thing was the guitar print pillows.
