Yesterday we took the train and jumped the border to Paris. The views along the way were fairly spectacular.
We're staying in an apartment for the week. When we arrived our pantry only had spaghetti, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar - so we did some shopping.
We stocked up on all the important things, particularly wine and cheese which we had as soon as we came home. I was really looking forward to it, but the wine tasted very watered down and the cheese wasn't as brilliant as I had expected. Boourns.
We managed to get some giant steaks from the butcher, so it was steak, fries and salad for dinner. A nice relaxing night in.
