winery tour.

My first day of summer was spent wine tasting on a vineyard tour! I was up, ready to go and on the bus at the ungodly hour of 8:30am on a Saturday - however it was totally worth it. First stop was Yering Station.

Second stop was Train Trak. This was my least favourite of all the vineyards we visited.

This is where we stopped to have lunch - which was much better than the wine. We had antipasti followed by pizza, one of which was an amazing four cheese pizza. Gosh it was good.

Next stop was St Huberts. It was the most lush green property we visited. By this point it had become quite hot outside, and after food it was definitely bordering on nap territory, so we stayed here a bit longer and forfeited the next winery. Who wouldn't want to chill out here anyway? Just beautiful.

The last vineyard we visited was Oakridge. It was fairly picturesque as well - but in a different way to St Huberts. These were the views from the patio outside, really glorious.

Such a great day. And what better way to end a day of drinking wine, than a night out at the bar? I was a bit over wine by that point, so I opted for cocktails - wooo!
